I hate the words, 'Dead Beat Dad'. Although it may true to some, it sure is not true in my case. And, because I am currently not able to pay not even one dollar of the nearly $5,000.00 that I owe (including $4,000.00 in medical), I am most probably being classified as one - even though I sold everything - and I mean everything I own - car, furniture (and everything else that you would find in a home) to pay my disloyal ex money for child support.
Although I am a professional, the company that I was recently working for - did not pay me - leaving me without any funds to even care for myself. I am hitting the streets, doing the online/craig's list beat - to no avail.
I am going on 51 and I need a break - at least $10,000.00 but I am most willing to get what an angel is willing to give so that it would go directly to my child support.
Worst yet, because I was never unfaithful to my ex nor did I ever abuse her, she is bitter specifically, because I forgave her prior to her losing her boyfriend...and it eats her up as she looks like the villian to my three kids who are so confused as she has alienated them from me for nearly 11 years - fo which I, pro se, have gone to court at least twice a year to get the court to allow me to see them of which I have won every time - but have to keep going to court as she is not afraid of the court system because she has not seen that what she does has very much of a punishment (rather a spank on the hand) and continues doing this - to the point where she is now using my inability to pay the requested child support as. "Look, your father doesn't even pay for your child support - and he says he loves you! Yeah right" Talk about Parental Alienation at its worse!
The truth is I have literally paid hundreds of thousands of dollars but I am late about 4 months due to the dire financial situation that I was placed in - due to someone not paying me for my employment. Because the job was freelance, there isn't any government assistance (i.e. unemployment) as I have checked this through and through.
Aggravated with the situation, I typed in the words, I need money and here you were and here I am. I am most willing to pay this amount back as I know that I will get on my feet shortly, however, another month of child support is about to be due (june 07) and another $1,500.00 will be tacked on.
Any aid available...anyone? Again, I am most willing to pay it back - with interests - thoush I beleive that I will need at least 3 - 6 months to pay it back.
My story: My ex left me for a man after 23 years of dating (6 years) and 17 years of marriage - nearly a quarter of a century!
Interestingly enough, the man left her (my ex) only 3 months after the divorce.
And, along with the divorce that I didn't even see coming, my three kids got to remain with her. How is this possible? God knows and I am trusting God that there is a great reason for everything and I am praying and awaiting for the good news!
Thanks.
